# AI Intake for Clinics: What It Changes for Paid Ads

MedScale doesn't build or run AI intake. Here is what an intake tool changes for paid ads, and how the booking still reaches the report.

The short answer

MedScale doesn't build or run AI intake. The tool that texts back a missed call or qualifies a lead after hours belongs to your team or an intake vendor. We run the paid side: the ads, the landing pages and the tracking. An intake tool changes what happens after the click, which changes what the ads are worth, so the two have to be connected: the lead has to reach the tool fast, and the booking has to come back to the ad.

How they fit together

## Who runs what, and where paid helps.

Who runs what Your team or an intake vendor runs the tool, the question list and the escalation path. MedScale runs the ads, the landing pages and the tracking.

After-hours leads Paid leads arrive at all hours. If your intake tool answers them, our landing pages hand each one over the moment the form lands.

What the tool should not do Claim to be staff, answer clinical questions, or pass anything about the conversation to an ad platform. Those are questions to put to any vendor before you sign.

Measurement When the tool books a consult, the booking is recorded as a neutral event through our server-side tracking, so the ad that started it gets the credit. No names, emails, phone numbers or transcripts go to the ad platforms.

What MedScale runs on the paid side

- Ad landing pages that hand leads to your intake tool
- Server-side tracking from the ad click to the booking
- A Monday report showing bookings by campaign

The services that do this

- [Paid Ads The campaigns that bring the leads your intake tool answers.](https://medscale.health/services/paid-ads)
- [Landing Pages for Healthcare Ads Pages that pass each lead to the tool the moment the form lands.](https://medscale.health/services/websites-and-landing-pages)
- [Paid Media Strategy and Reporting Tracking that credits a midnight booking to the ad that caused it.](https://medscale.health/services/strategic-support)

The report reads the same whichever services you buy, because all of them run on the same server-side tracking. [See how the tiers bundle them](https://medscale.health/pricing).

Common questions

## What people ask us about this.

**Does MedScale sell AI intake?**

No. MedScale runs paid acquisition only. Your team or an intake vendor runs the tool, and MedScale connects it to the ads and the tracking.

**Should patients know they are talking to an AI?**

Yes. A good tool says so in the first message and never claims to be a staff member. Ask any vendor to show you that first message.

**What should happen when someone asks a medical question?**

The tool should not answer. It should say a clinician will follow up and hand the question to a person. The same applies to dosing, side effects, outcomes and whether a medication is right for them.

**Is it HIPAA compliant?**

That depends on the vendor. The platform should sit under a BAA and keep transcripts in your systems, not with an ad vendor. On MedScale's side, the only thing that reaches an ad platform is a neutral booking event with no personal data.

**Can it replace our front desk?**

Usually not. It covers the voicemail and the after-hours gap. Your desk still handles the conversations that need judgment.

- [AI Intake for Clinics: What Does It Change for Paid Ads?](https://medscale.health/answers/ai-intake-for-clinics-explained) As of October 2026, AI intake means a system that answers a missed call or web form by text or voice within about a minute, qualifies the person, books the consult and hands anything clinical to a human. MedScale Health, a paid ads agency for US telehealth brands and clinics, does not sell AI intake; it runs the ads and landing pages the tool sits behind and checks that booked consults, not form fills, reach the campaigns. For paid ads the tool changes one thing: the booked consult can become the conversion, if the tool carries the ad click and sends a generic booked event back. Reviewed October 24, 2026
- [What Does a Telehealth Growth Audit Include?](https://medscale.health/answers/what-a-telehealth-growth-audit-includes) As of October 2026, a telehealth growth audit worth reading covers five things: the channels your category can run, every ad and page read against health policy, the patient's conversion path, what your tracking sends to the ad platforms, and a costed 90-day plan. MedScale Health, a paid ads agency for US telehealth brands and clinics, delivers that document in five business days from read-only access. An audit that skips the policy read or the tracking review is a sales call with a PDF attached. Reviewed October 24, 2026
