Budget calculator

Telehealth ad budget and cost per order calculator

Turn a monthly budget into cost per order, orders a month and months to your goal. Then see whether each campaign gets enough orders a week for Meta to learn, and how to ramp spend safely.

Checked October 5, 2026 against the source pages.

The starting numbers are planning assumptions, not results. Replace each one with your own.

Orders a week per campaign

15.3 / about 50

Below Meta’s learning threshold of about 50 a week.

Optimize each campaign for an earlier step that happens more often, such as a started checkout or intake, until orders reach about 50 a week. Or run fewer campaigns: at this budget, not even one campaign reaches the threshold on orders.

For all 2 campaigns to learn on orders, plan on about $32,589 a month at this cost per order.

Ramp at about 20% a week

From $150 a day, spend reaches $10,000 a month in week 6. Step up only while cost per order holds.

How the numbers work

Five steps, no hidden inputs.

The starting numbers are planning assumptions, not results, and no client’s data is used. The one platform figure is Meta’s: ad sets usually leave the learning phase “after about 50results in the week after the ad set’s last significant edit”.

When a campaign can’t reach that, Meta suggests combining ad sets and campaigns or choosing an optimization event that happens more often. That is why the calculator suggests an earlier step, such as a started checkout or intake, or fewer campaigns.

Cost per order
Cost per click divided by the visit-to-order rate. At $1.50 a click and 2%, that is $1.50 / 0.02 = $75 an order.
Orders a month
Monthly budget divided by cost per order. $10,000 / $75 = 133 orders a month.
Learning check
Monthly orders turned into weekly orders (an average month is about 4.35 weeks), split across the campaigns that learn separately, then compared with the about 50 a week Meta names for leaving the learning phase.
Ramp
Daily spend starts at your starting budget and rises about 20% a week until it reaches the monthly budget. That step size is our planning rule, not Meta's; Meta's own advice is to avoid frequent budget changes, which can restart learning.
Months to goal
Weekly orders added up along the ramp and then at full spend until they reach your goal. Orders from other channels, repeat orders and referrals would shorten it, so this is the paid-ads-only view.
